OLLY OLLY OXEN FREE

It's the new year and everybody should have their 'I won't ever drink again' resolution once again. Before I start I wanted to wish everybody a happy new year and the best to who ever read this.....if you're not reading this...sock it,... :D

This is my first blogpost of the year and i'm very excited, ok..i'm lying ...i'm tired and my little fingertips do not feel the magical typing syndrom that it usualy gets.....but I would like to share some music. So, as some of you may know i'm leaving to South Africa in a couple of weeks and to celebrate I have gone out of my way to google South African artists and stumbled upon one that I actually am familiar with so I decided to post one of their songs that I like. Oh! and i'm also suposse to be talking about food.....hmmm,...well it's the season of gaining pounds and looking extra tubby but happy none the less. Yesterday, I went to dinner to a restaurant that is in a windmill (now how cool is that in the first place?!??!). It goes without saying that I had a very nice meal but what made the whole evening just worth the walking to the place is the dessert. I had a apple pie (which usually is quiet ordinary...sorry apple pie :( ..) but on the side of this apple pie there was a magical little layer of cinnamon ice cream with cocoa powder on top!....now brace yourself cause inner chubby lay went to town on that ice cream...needless to say it was amazing  <3.

Okay, so on to music. First one would be from a band called 'Magnetic fields'.

They are from the US and I have chosen a song that I find quiet sweet and nice. Ok, i'm lying again...if you actually read the lyrics they're quiet sad and I think we've all been there atleast once in our life where you have an unrequited love that no matter what you do it just won't happen....*sigh*.....but the song is quiet beautiful so have a look at it. They also have way cool folksie songs so go google their stuff. And as i'm writing this I realized I haven't put the name of the song on,...it's called.. 'All my little words'

On to the next song...now this one is giving tribute to the place that I will soon be living in and probably where I will end up getting shot at (I kid I kid). The band is called Goldfish and I've heard and listen to their songs before but never paid too much attention.

I went to look at some of their stuff and I must say that they have a really different mix of music in each individual song that they have so I guess it could be anyone's taste. I did find two songs I really like one called the real deal which I found pretty yummy to my ears :D..... But the one I chose is called... 'The four forty five blues'. I mean, the name says it all doesn't it??? ....well it's a really cool breezy beat...so go listen!....

Hope you guys enjoyed this new post and that the songs are to your enlightment.
