It's time for me to procrastinate once more on not doing homework and instead make a new blog =)..booyah!..I hope you guys liked my first one, and I had this great idea that if I end up making atleast 5 blogs I will throw a big party celebrating my anniversary.
Oh and out of topic of music, I would like for everybody to gather and start making a fund called " Get Lay that micro pig that she so desperately want".
Ok so on to music again. This week I found this really nice Australian guy that I actually came to admire. His name is Xavier Rudd and ironically he will be playing in Amsterdam around November if you guys would like to see him live. I know i'm hoping to get tickets so if you'd like to join me don't hesitate too much.
The song that I really like that I heard from him ( i'm not sure if it's his or not but oh well) is called ' Fortune teller'. the clip I saw is live and it looks by far an amazing show that wouldn't imagine missing. He is multi talented and has this quirky instrument called the didgeridoo (try saying that 10 times around) which is originally from the aboriginal people.

The song sounds to me very eclectic in a way and just has a beat to it that in a way makes you want to do some funky poses that I think fits perfectly with the song.
Anyhoo, my second choice for this week is a girl called Laura Marling with her song Blackberry stone (No!,it doesn't have to do with the phone). She's from England and as you know it she sings some heavenly folksy songs.
The song has a bit of a melancholy feeling behind it, but it wouldn't be one of my picks if there wasn't any morbid message hidden in it. My favorite line of this song is "I'd be sad that I never held your hand as you were lowered, but I'd understand that I'd never let it go".
The clip that I watched on youtube is a live version of the song and like always I much rather listen to the live version. It shows you more on what the song means to the artist and the feeling behind it (Yeah, I know sappy)
So i'll keep it short for now...
I was told that they've noticed how I was trying to create a new trademark for myself by saying 'Lay out'. So because of that reason I will keep my element of surprise and say something new each week. Take that! ..
See you next week.
Toodles.
